From April 3 to 5, 2025, the Ethiopian capital, Addis Ababa, hosted the Pan-African Youth Leaders Summit, an initiative organized by the Ethiopian Ministry of Women and Social Affairs in partnership with the Pan-African Youth Union. This event brought together institutional and civil society stakeholders to discuss major issues related to youth empowerment and participation in the development of the African continent.

Chad was represented by a delegation led by Adam Mbodou Abakar, National Advisor for Education, Training, and Employment at the National Youth Council of Chad (CNJT). This participation underscores the CNJT's commitment to promoting educated, active, and engaged youth in development dynamics.

During the summit, crucial discussions focused on the challenges and opportunities related to youth participation in decision-making, training, and job creation. Chad's presence also helped strengthen exchanges and lay the foundations for future collaborations to implement inclusive and innovative youth policies.

This event marked an important step in fostering a mobilized pan-African youth movement, a beacon of hope and a key player in economic and social development in Africa.
