Since the beginning of July, the Chadian capital has been hosting the 47th session of the Inter-African Consultative Committees (ICC) of the African and Malagasy Council for Higher Education (CAMES). The work will continue until July 16.
Under the chairmanship of Professor Ali Doumma, the work of the Specialized Technical Committees (STCs) in Arts, Humanities, Natural Sciences, and Agronomy has already begun. These committees examine applications for tenure and academic recognition of teacher-researchers from CAMES member states.
Professor Souleymane Konaté, Secretary General of CAMES, joined the participants and was warmly welcomed by Chadian university authorities. His arrival marks an important step in the smooth running of the work.
The other specialized CAMES committees are expected to meet in the coming days to continue discussions, enrich scientific work, and promote the harmonization of academic standards in French-speaking Africa.
