The company will protect borders and thwart drug smuggling using anti-drone technologies.
Centrix, an Israeli company specializing in the development of drone combat solutions, announced that it has won a major contract in Latin America, under which it will provide advanced systems for airspace protection and the fight against crime. This multi-million dollar contract is the largest installation of drone warfare systems in the entire region.

The project includes a wide deployment of advanced drone combat systems, with the aim of improving airspace security in various strategic areas. Among other things, the systems will be used to protect military bases, special operations units, VIP convoys and guard national borders. Particular emphasis will be placed on combating drug trafficking and cross-border criminal activities, which constitute a major challenge for many countries in the region.

The choice of Centrix was made after a series of rigorous trials and operational tests, during which the company was able to demonstrate superior performance compared to a dozen other competitors. One of the main factors that tipped the scales was the system's ability to operate covertly, undetected by external parties during use. Additionally, the support of a local partner and positive recommendations from an existing customer in Israel, who has been working with the Centrix platform for years, were also positively mentioned.

The project will include a combination of fixed, mobile and mounted systems, as part of a multi-layered defense strategy aimed at maximizing operational flexibility. Centrix systems installed on vehicles will provide discreet protection and enable continuous activities, such as guarding VIP convoys and special forces missions.
