My dear little brother,
Allow me to open this letter with all the honesty and gravity the situation demands. We are living in a time when masks have fallen, illusions no longer hold, and every word must be weighed as a political act. It is in this spirit that I write to you—not to judge you, but to remind you of what we have seen, lived, and endured together. For history does not forgive amnesia, and even less so feigned innocence.
We all witnessed the baseless accusation, without the slightest evidence, that unjustly sent our little brother Dr. Masra Succès Asyongar to prison for 20 long years.
And while you were Minister of Education, you saw—as we all did—the broad‑daylight killing of Yaya Dilo Djérou Betchi, without any justice ever being served.
Even before you became a minister, we stood side by side on October 20, 2022, when that same regime gunned down our youth, our brothers, our parents… and then granted amnesty to the killers as if our dead had never existed.
I will spare you the massacres of Kouri Bougoudi, of Abéché, and those unbearable scenes where civilians were shot even in cemeteries, during burials.
So tell me, little brother:
Where does this inspiration come from, this idea of asking for a bit of humanity from a man who has never shown any in his life?
How can you believe he will free little brother Asyongar out of compassion or justice?
And according to you, by what miracle of the Holy Spirit is Youssouf Boye—who shared the same mosquito net as Kaka and the same maternal breast—now sitting in Klessoum, ignored and abandoned?
Far be it from me to doubt your faith. But to me, there is a glaring lack of awareness regarding the current political situation of your party, Les Transformateurs, in Chad.
Let me open your eyes on two points.
1 — The MPS, and its president above all, seeks the complete extinction of your party, even the physical elimination of its members.
The proof? The systematic poaching of your most dedicated militants: Sitack, your treasurer, the deputy director of TCP… The strategy is clear: to drain you of your substance.
2 — Masra’s fate is the least of the concerns of the man you wrote to.
So is this political naïveté, or unconsciousness?
You are walking in the shadow of the valley of death, and in either case, only two paths remain: exile or rebellion.
May God inspire you further.
He can speak to you through me as well, your elder brother.
