A NEW INGENIOUS TECHNIQUE FOR BREEDING IS BORN!

ENVIRONMENT: A NEW INGENIOUS TECHNIQUE FOR LIVESTOCK IS BORN!
    By: The Charilogone Editorial Team

Isn’t the country of Toumai, Chad, the cradle of humanity, also the cradle of technique and technology? Considering the inventions and creativity demonstrated by the new generation of Chadians, it is possible. The example of young Ulrich Ndilira Rotam is a perfect illustration that Chad can or is the heart of technical innovation.

Indeed, international specialist in oil fields and researcher in physics and cosmology, expert Ulrich Ndilira Rotam has set up an impeccable technique allowing rainwater to be harvested and recovered overflowed water lines, all of its water stored in SOYOS stations to be treated and then used for animal consumption. This aspect which is one of the components of the major SOYOS Project. What does this new breeding technique consist of?

According to the researcher: “water maintains internal temperature, digestion, waste elimination and nutrient absorption. It represents 80% of blood volume and is fundamental to the survival of animals. Several strategies and efforts have been undertaken by the Government and its partners to provide effective and productive solutions but we note that the problem remains. The Chadian herd is estimated at more than 94 million heads,” he says.

This part of the SOYOS Livestock Project, he explains, “aims to provide water for livestock farming, thanks to its innovations with pastoral water stations which will be distributed in several places considered as places of good grazing which are not exploited for livestock, due to lack of water for watering livestock.” A solution to pastoral conflicts around water points The country is experiencing a crisis situation in certain parts of the national territory, often linked to peaceful cohabitation due to the lack of water for livestock. This scarcity means that the few water points (ponds, streams, wells, etc.) exist do not allow millions of animals to drink in time.

Through this component of the project, it will reduce social conflicts in the pastoral and agropastoral zone and will help the state save money. It also aims to provide water to wildlife through the country's parks. Note that the SOYOS Project takes on several aspects of human activity: SOYOS Project to save Lake Chad; the SOYOS project for reforestation and the SOYOS component for agriculture, fish farming and arboriculture. Finally, concludes the inventor: “any technical and financial partnership is welcome for its implementation and popularization”.
