  • Chad: Start of the 2025 Baccalaureate Examination and Review of Moroccan Scholarships

    Monday, June 2, 2025, marks the beginning of the written baccalaureate exams in Chad. This year, 104,440 candidates, from all disciplines (literature, science, and technology), are taking this crucial exam for their academic and professional future.

    At the same time, the National Scholarship Commission held its regular session this Tuesday, chaired by Minister of State Tom Erdimi, to review 250 scholarships offered by the Kingdom of Morocco.

    2025 Baccalaureate Examination Process

    The official launch of the exams took place at the Lycée Technique Commerciale (Technical and Commercial High School), in the presence of Ministers Tom Erdimi (Higher Education) and Dr. Aboubakar Assidick Choroma (National Education). This exam represents a decisive step for Chadian students who aspire to continue their higher education or enter the job market.

    Moroccan Scholarships: An Opportunity for Chadian Students

    During the regular session of the National Scholarship Commission, 250 Moroccan scholarships were reviewed. They are distributed as follows:

    170 university scholarships,

    50 vocational training scholarships,

    30 scholarships dedicated to the Southern Provinces of Morocco.

    Eligibility criteria include:

    A science baccalaureate with honors (Very Good to Fairly Good),

    Age between 18 and 19,

    Schooling in French.

    Successful candidates will have to choose three scientific majors. The Minister emphasized the importance of academic excellence, gender parity, and provincial equity in the selection of beneficiaries.

    The start of the 2025 baccalaureate and the review of Moroccan scholarships illustrate the Chadian government's commitment to promoting education and providing opportunities for young people. These initiatives aim to strengthen students' skills and enable them to access quality training, both nationally and internationally.
