  • Burkina Faso: A new ecological city for a sustainable future

    Captain Ibrahim Traoré, President of Burkina Faso, is continuing his drive to transform Burkina Faso with an ambitious new project. This Monday, his Minister of Urban Planning, Land Affairs, and Housing, Mikaïlou Sidibé, laid the foundation stone of the SONATUR "Cissin 20-20" housing project, located in the 6th district of Ouagadougou.

    This new project will consist of approximately thirty triplexes (R+2) that will be fully self-sufficient thanks to solar energy. This project is in line with President Ibrahim Traoré's vision to modernize urban infrastructure while ensuring a sustainable and innovative living environment for Burkinabe citizens.

    Since taking office, Captain Traoré has launched numerous initiatives aimed at strengthening urbanization and access to modern infrastructure. This eco-city project demonstrates its commitment to making Burkina Faso a country firmly focused on sustainable development, with solutions tailored to environmental and energy challenges.

    The construction of the SONATUR "Cissin 20-20" housing project marks a new milestone in the modernization of Burkina Faso. This project demonstrates the government's commitment to promoting responsible urban planning while providing citizens with modern, environmentally friendly housing.
