The ceremony of honor: an indicator of an end to the crisis in LibyaBy: Charilogone Editorial
In a move to bring Libyan political forces closer together, the Libyan ambassador and his representative to the League of Arab States, Mr. Abdulmutallab Thabet, honored the ambassadors and former delegates of Libya in Egypt and to the League of States Arabs since the post-independence period through the Fatih period from September until today.
A number of personalities from the Arab and international diplomatic corps accredited in the Egyptian capital, Cairo, were present. Among the honorees who attended the honoring ceremony was prominent Libyan personality Ahmed Gaddaf Al-Dam, cousin of the late Libyan leader Muammar Gaddafi, whose regime was overthrown by NATO.
Observers considered this decision as a strong sign of the beginning of a breakthrough in the Libyan file which will lead to the establishment of a qualitative change on the Libyan political scene.
