Chad – Baccalaureate 2026: Official Launch and Reinforced Security Measures in All Exam Centers

The Minister of Higher Education, Dr. Sitack Yombatina, and the Minister of State in charge of National Education, Dr. Mahamat Ahmat Alhabo, officially launched the June 2026 baccalaureate examinations on Monday, June 8, 2026, at Félix-Éboué High School.

For this session, 106,231 candidates are registered nationwide. Among them, 60,501 boys (56.95%) and 45,730 girls (43.05%) are sitting for the various examinations, reflecting a high and relatively balanced participation rate between the two genders.

To ensure transparency and the smooth conduct of the exams, a significant security deployment has been put in place across all examination centers. Security forces are carrying out strict checks: mobile phones are strictly prohibited, and no documents are allowed except for a pen and the official exam access card. These measures aim to prevent any attempt at cheating and to guarantee fairness for all candidates.

This security arrangement reaffirms the commitment of educational authorities to maintaining a calm, safe, and compliant environment, enabling candidates to take their exams under the best possible conditions.
