Indeed, on January 27, European Union Ambassador Nicola Orlando met with the Commander-in-Chief of the Libyan Army, Marshal Khalifa Haftar, during his visit to Benghazi, Orlando said in a blog post on its official page of the X site. "We had a fruitful discussion on current developments and focused on how the European Union can contribute to a solution to the political crisis and divisions in Libya."
