THE POLITICAL PARTY LEADERS IN CHAD ARE COMPLETELY USELESS
A civil servant carries out the work assigned to him by his superiors.His mission is to monitor the management of ministries, public companies, para‑state institutions, and their branches.
In short, he conducts internal audits and reports to his superiors on the state of our public finances. This is a normal administrative management process.
At the end of the mission, he reports on his work and may have to explain himself before the prosecutor when money has been misused, with staggering amounts of embezzlement; or he may congratulate the audited entity for proper accounting, which can result in a decoration from the Head of State.
A look at the management of our taxes, paid through the sweat of honest citizens.
Djougourou Ousmane did his job, except that he ran into the refusal of his superiors to let him carry out his mission.
It is important to recall that he has a mandate to conduct audits “where and when” he wants, and this is written clearly as part of his prerogatives: he reports only to the Head of State and to him alone.
When the pressure tightened on the companies under the direct supervision of Mr. Taher Nguilin, the super‑minister of Finance, Budget, and Planning, the President of the Republic blew the whistle to end the game — and the break.
Ousmane was threatened, insulted with all sorts of names, and strangely, no political party leader defended him, not even our designated opposition leader, Pahimi Padacké Albert, who managed this same administration for 20 years.
The credible opposition, the GCAP recently released from prison and still healing its wounds, is visibly very busy.
The unions that preach good governance are nowhere to be found.
Human rights organizations are turning a deaf ear.
In short, no one openly defends Ousmane Djougourou. And I asked myself: why?
The first answer is that Ousmane was wrong to accept this mission. Could he have refused it? Only he can tell us.
I come to the conclusion that:
– The main reason for the lack of public support for this brave and honest civil servant is that he is Zakawa, from the Aryan lineage of Amdjarass. And for ordinary Chadians, this is yet another clan struggle, a family affair that could end in bloodshed and the payment of dia. It’s between them! After all, they have run Chad for 36 years; who would dare do their job without the Maréchal’s approval?
Let’s hope no harm comes to Ousmane Djougourou. May God protect him.
Such is Chad, with our cowardly politicians. They are never serious. Patriotism is first measured by the ability to defend and support unknown individuals who dare to challenge corrupt powers.
In conclusion, ultimately, it is the Maréchal’s son who is the source of all our misfortunes! We suspected it, but Djougourou Ousmane confirmed it!
