COOPERATION CHAD – FRANCE: ZERO POINTS

What achievements in terms of road, railway, or hospital infrastructure have resulted from the Chad–France cooperation?
None.
And yet, this very poor country has produced one of the most powerful armies, thanks to Japanese vehicles — of which it is the first client — to French weapons, and to military uniforms manufactured in France.
The Chadian army has nothing left to prove to the world, given its effectiveness with France’s support.
It has intervened in many theaters of operation: Mali, Sudan, Central African Republic, Rwanda, Congo-Brazzaville, Cameroon, Nigeria, Libya, Niger, Algeria, Vietnam, Germany, France, Yemen, Lebanon, Haiti.
I don’t know if I forgot a country where the Chadian army has fought bravely, but when we look at the achievements of military engineering in Chad, we are stunned.
Cooperation with France: what a shame.
No manufacturing plant has ever been built in Chad: not for cartridges, not for Kalashnikovs, not for military uniforms, not for “rangers” boots, belts, military canteens, socks, “pico” beds, plates, spoons, forks, knives, military barracks, sewing needles, toothpicks, or even vehicle assembly.
And all this after 65 years, since Chad’s independence.
Question: What has our strategic, privileged, special military partnership with the French army been used for?
Answer: Surely for France’s interest, but not for Chad’s. The evidence is right in front of you; no need for long speeches.
Nothing is “MADE IN CHAD” in our army.
Come look us in the eyes and tell us why people criticize French policy in Chad.
The Chadian army doesn’t even produce the food it eats in Chad.
Who can top that?
Some people say the French have only set Chadians against each other and taken advantage of the ignorance of the country’s leaders.
