Two Years of War in Sudan: The Cry of a People in Search of Justice

By: Dr. Yaqoub Noreen - Translation from Arabic to English / Charilogone Editorial Team

Two years after the start of their cursed war, Chief Burhan called it futile before backtracking once the satanic movement took control. Since then, their machine of death has been sowing blood and mutilated bodies across all regions of Sudan.

During these two years, they lied to the people by calling their cursed war a "war of dignity." A description that, paradoxically, reflects their reality: they have turned the blood of the Sudanese people into a source of dignity for their cursed return to power. This conflict, initially political between two military factions, has transformed into a racist social war, cloaked in a shameful and unprecedented political guise.

For two years, they have been spreading the poison of hatred and racism among the Sudanese people, who have never known such a filthy war or such despicable instigators. They pour the lava of hell on kneeling old men, infants, and defenseless women. After each massacre orchestrated by their brutal planes, their supporters glorify the pilots as "great kebab makers."

These two years have been marked by the misery and political and military failure of a group driven by a religious obsession, far removed from any spirituality or tolerance. They have insulted friendly and neighboring countries, racking up failures on the international stage and in state management. They have created a political and social farce, promoting media clowns as heroes.

Two years of massacres, persecution, and murders, simply because the victims are not like them. Two years of betrayal of a fasting people, hoping for the Night of Decree. During these two years, the people have offered martyr after martyr to protect their land and their dignity. The best sons of the nation, who could have rebuilt a new Sudan based on justice, peace, and freedom, have been lost.

They describe us as Arabs of the diaspora, when only yesterday they carried us on their shoulders like heroes. This is why fighting these oppressors is a sacred alliance we have entered into. We will fight them until our last breath, until we regain the full and intact rights of our people.

After two years, we salute the souls of our honorable martyrs. We extend our prayers to the wounded for their speedy recovery and ask God to return the missing. Finally, we salute the mothers, fathers, and children of the martyrs, promising them to build a Sudanese state on new foundations, preserving human dignity and protecting humanity.

Two years later, we are on the path to building the homeland dreamed of by the Sudanese people. May peace be upon our country and our people.
