Peace Government: New Ministers Sworn In at Nyala

The ceremony marks the beginning of their duties within the new executive.

Dr. Suleiman Sandal, Minister of Interior
Koko Mohamed Jagdoul, Minister of Education
Al‑Basha Tabiq, Minister of Petroleum
Sila Moussa, Minister of Decentralized Governance
Carlo John, Minister of Finance and Economic Planning
Hafsa Idris, Minister of Urban Development
Zouheir Mohamedi, Minister of Social Development
Khaled Danna, Minister of Information and Government Spokesperson
A Day Described as Historic
Following the ceremony, the Minister of Information and Government Spokesperson, Khaled Danna’, described the day as “historic and momentous.”
He emphasized that this government is the first to be formed “far from any policy of exclusion or marginalization,” highlighting its national representativeness and regional diversity.According to him, this diversity — never achieved by previous governments since independence — is a crucial response to the deep-rooted political and social conflicts in Sudan.
A Commitment to Serve the People
He stressed that they see themselves as servants of the Sudanese people, not privileged rulers.
He also pledged that the government will strive to fulfill the aspirations of the people and the martyrs: building a new Sudan founded on freedom, peace, justice, democracy, and prosperity.
