"In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
Rapid Support Forces air defenses shot down an Akıncı drone over Nyala, South Darfur State, on Friday evening. This aircraft, used for indiscriminate bombing of residential areas, resulted in the deaths of dozens of innocent civilians.
The Akıncı, a heavily armed long-range attack aircraft, illustrates the Islamic Army's relentless use of lethal weapons against the civilian population, in total violation of international and humanitarian norms.
Our forces reaffirm their absolute commitment to neutralizing any aerial threat. Our defenses have demonstrated their high effectiveness, and our fighters have proven their competence in quickly eliminating these aircraft, thus minimizing the damage inflicted on the population.
We warn the army of the Islamic Movement against any further attacks targeting civilians. Our forces reserve the right to respond immediately and firmly, using the means of their choice, at the time and place they deem appropriate, including in the heart of enemy strongholds and command centers.
Such attacks will not go unpunished. Our forces will continue to defend our people by all means, until the eradication of terrorism and the restoration of peace and security throughout the country.
