Geneva Validates the RSF: Humanitarianism or Strategic Cynicism

The peace organization expressed strong support for the Rapid Support Forces (RSF), recognizing them as a strategic bulwark against human trafficking networks and illegal immigration on the triangular borders of Sudan, Libya, and Egypt.
RSF: Controversial, but Effective Forces?
In a climate of widespread security disintegration in Sudan, this stance raises questions and raises eyebrows. The RSF, often criticized for their role in internal clashes, are presented here as guarantors of fragile regional stability, slowing the deployment of traffickers in neglected border areas.
A dialogue for peace, but under what conditions?
The Organization also welcomed the Council's initiative to initiate prior consultations for the protection of civilians, including a variety of stakeholders from the Sudanese conflict. These consultations are seen as an opportunity for political reconstruction, where human rights and humanitarian aid could finally converge toward a credible solution.
