    Following the entry of the Sudanese Armed Forces into Al-Jazeera State and the withdrawal of the Rapid Support Forces, the village of 34 Al-Faw, affiliated with the Umm Al-Qura Central Unit in Umm Al-Qura Locality, was subjected to a violent attack by armed militias and mobilized personnel led by the so-called "Sudan Shield Forces" under the command of Kikil, with the support of armed elements from neighboring villages.

    Background on the Village:
    The village of 34 Al-Faw was established in 1978, coinciding with the establishment of the Rahad Agricultural Project. The southern neighborhood of the village has approximately 580 homes, with a population of more than 6,000. The village has all basic services, such as electricity, water, schools, and other necessities of life.

    Details of the Attack and Violations:
    The attack targeted the western neighborhood of the village, which is inhabited by Citizens from Darfur and Kordofan tribes were killed in a racist attack, in which various types of firearms and knives were used.

    The attack resulted in:
    The burning of 580 homes in the southwestern neighborhood.
    The looting of livestock (cows, sheep, and goats).
    The theft of all agricultural crops, with the remaining crops burned inside homes.
    The destruction of farms at the height of the harvest season.
    The looting of vehicles, money, and personal property.
    Those involved in the crime:

    According to reliable local testimonies, the attack was carried out with the direct coordination of:
    1. Abdul Qadir Muhammad Ibrahim (Abu Salafa)
    Chairman of the Popular Committee in Village 34
    Field Coordinator of the Sudan Shield Forces
    2. Hamid al-Zubair
    Secretary-General of the Villages
    Coordinator of Field Operations and Attacks for the Sudan Shield Forces
    The aforementioned individuals collected donations and logistical support from several neighboring

    villages and centers, most notably:
    Al-Shabaqra City
    Al-Babanusa Village (known for the 1996 crime, in which more than 27 students in a Quran memorization retreat
    Al-Baqassa Village
    Al-Jarabi' Village
    Villages located on the banks of the Nile (Al-Bahr)
    Sources confirm that the operation was carried out under direct orders from the leadership of the "Sudan Shield" group, as part of a systematic policy to target villages inhabited by marginalized communities.

    Description of the crime:
    What happened in Al-Faw Village 34 on December 9, 2024, constitutes a crime against humanity, according to international humanitarian law, and a gross violation of human rights based on race and ethnicity.

    2. Provide international protection for civilians in the targeted areas.

    4. Urgent appeal to authorities and humanitarian organizations to intervene quickly and provide relief to those affected.
    5. Secure the area and prevent the recurrence of such crimes in the future.
    6. Provide direct support for reconstruction and compensation for victims.
